APICS has updated the world’s leading supply chain framework, incorporating many emerging drivers of supply chain success:
■ Omni-channel, metadata, blockchain and other emerging topics
■ Modernized best practices and processes to better align with digital strategy
■ Updated people skills/training based on the APICS body of knowledge
■ Sustainability standards based on The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI)
■ Tighter alignment of supply chain management costs with SCORmark benchmark
■ Process workflows generated by the SCOR BPM Accelerator, ensuring accurate data mapping
All APICS members can access the new version of SCOR, and many other great resources, when they log in to My APICS.
SCOR framework update
The Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) framework is in the process of being updated to meet the needs of today’s supply chain professionals. Updates include changes to the framework, courseware and exam.
The SCOR framework will continue to be free to members. Timeline for the discontinuation of Version 11.0 and the release of the new version
■ November 1, 2017: New training materials available for purchase.
■ November 1, 2017: All training taken on or after this date is for Version 12.0.
■ December 31, 2017: Current Version 11.0 exam no longer available. No exceptions. Candidates are encouraged to test prior to the deadline to ensure enough time if they need to retake the exam.
■ After January 8, 2018, candidates who hold a valid Version 11.0 ATT will be able to use their ATT through its expiration date, however, they will only be able to schedule the new Version 12.0 exam.
■ January 8, 2018: New Version 12.0 exam available for scheduling.
■ Candidates who receive SCOR training using the new training materials between November 1 and December 31, 2017 may not schedule their new Version 12.0 exam until January 8, 2018. Therefore, their two-month ATT expiration period begins January 8, 2018.
