Dictionary 16th Edition
The 16th edition of the APICS Dictionary is now available! CLTD 2.0 update
To ensure APICS certification programs reflect current professional practices, we recently conducted a CLTD job task analysis (JTA). The CLTD JTA researched current market conditions to determine if any updates were necessary for the CLTD content. As a result, both the preparatory Learning System and exam are being updated.This will be the first major update of the CLTD certification content since its launch and is necessary to ensure the credential remains relevant in today’s market.We have posted the new CLTD 2.0 Exam Content Manual for our valued partners to give you the opportunity to review the CLTD 2.0 exam information.The following outlines the communications we have begun distributing to partners, chapters, candidates and customers.
§ November 2019: The CLTD 2.0 Learning System will become available to partners, instructors and the public, including bundle purchases.
§ Please note: Exam credits included with the CLTD bundles purchased in November will be extended due to the March 2020 availability of the CLTD 2.0 exams. Since there are no separate CLTD 2.0 exam credits or authorizations to test (ATTs), candidates studying the new material should ensure that they schedule their exams on or after March 16.
§ March 13, 2020: Last day of CLTD 1.0 testing. It is important for you to communicate to your candidates that they need to schedule their CLTD 1.0 exams in advance to ensure availability. After this date, the CLTD 1.0 will no longer be available.
§ March 14–15, 2020: Exam blackout period. Candidates cannot take or schedule the CLTD exam during these dates.
§ March 16, 2020: First date of testing for new CLTD 2.0 exam.
§ Please note: Candidates holding a valid CLTD 1.0 exam credit or ATT that has not yet expired will automatically be transferred to CLTD 2.0.
